Melanie Hoadley undertook her formal training at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, followed by the Zuerich Opera studio. During her time as a singer, Melanie has performed as a member of the extra-chorus, Covent Garden, on many opera and film score recordings with The London Voices, as well as a soloist in opera for small touring companies.

Melanie teaches singing at Truro College, Truro School and Truro High School for Girls, and enjoys passing on and sharing her experience and knowledge of vocal technique with young people. Melanie and Cheryl thoroughly enjoyed singing a wide variety of Christmas music at The Eden Project throughout the Festival of Shadows and Light, and with members of Intimate Opera has performed concerts for charity. In September 2019 Melanie will be performing a lunchtime concert in Truro Cathedral.
